- The tiger leaped upon the poor man, and pinned him to
the ground.
- The Brahman came upon a buffalo turning a
well-wheel. The buffalo had no sympathy for him.

- Even the road itself gave no sympathy to his problem.
- The Tiger decided to eat the Brahman but made a deal.
The Brahman told the Tiger that he was ungrateful.
- He came across a jackal and explained the entire story .
The jackal pretended to be confused.
- Soon a large tree came into view. The tree had no
sympathy for him.
- The Tiger said "If you can find three things who
agree with you then I will allow you to go free."
- But as much as he tried, he still could not make the
jackal comprehend.
- The tiger crawled back into the cage to demonstrate.
- The Tiger lost patience with the jackal.
- The jackal shut the door, locking the tiger back
inside.
- Jackal and Brahman went back to the Tiger.
- The Brahman took pity on the Tiger and let him out.
